This set of custom straps is a very limited edition. “Away from it all” is both the name of an upcoming tour for the Sofus team. “Away from it all – tour 2011″ / and it’s also the feeling a lot of fixed gear cyclists world over gets when they escape the everyday life for a moment and simply rides “away from it all”.

Why a drawing of California on the straps?? Because California was the place that got me into this game years ago. Especially the Bay area has my heart and SF in particular. For me, california equals freedom. And I will go there as often as the money and time alows me to.

We are super stoked that Juliet Elliott is still rocking Sofus straps. It’s a real shame that not more girls here in Denmark are into fixed gear freestyle at the moment. But with Juliet being a role model, we are hoping to see more girls tricking.. even here in Denmark

That’s one of the reasons we asked her in the first place. A couple of weeks ago we postet some amazing pictures that really shows that she got style and talent, big time. Not just because she is a girl. But because she has talent. So come on girls – buy a FGFS bike and get going..

We shipped this set of (size small/medium) [Titan] straps over to Juliet last week and they look so sweet on her bike. We custom made the straps to match the colors of her Charge Scissor.

In 2011, the second “Beer Bash” will be held in Odense. Last time (july 2010) welcomed the day with track stand competition, visits to various kiosks, giving price discounts, and a ride through the city.

Beer Bash 2011 will be held on Saturday 18th June - again in Odense/Denmark. We repeat our success - just much bigger! The route is longer, there will be several contests, more prizes, more participants and more bikes.

We will do everything possible not to put the focus on competition, but to have the cozy feel, comfortable with bikes, drink a beer or two and possibly and meeting new people. There are procured sponsorship of beer from “Abbey Brew” to participants. Yes you read that right: free beer!

I 2011 vil der for anden gang blive afhold Beer Bash i Odense. Sidste gang (i juli måned 2010) bød dagen på track stand-konkurrence, besøg hos diverse kiosker der gav prisrabat, en tur på cykelbanen samt cykeltræf generelt.
