We are super stoked that Juliet Elliott is still rocking Sofus straps. It’s a real shame that not more girls here in Denmark are into fixed gear freestyle at the moment. But with Juliet being a role model, we are hoping to see more girls tricking.. even here in Denmark
That’s one of the reasons we asked her in the first place. A couple of weeks ago we postet some amazing pictures that really shows that she got style and talent, big time. Not just because she is a girl. But because she has talent. So come on girls – buy a FGFS bike and get going..
We shipped this set of (size small/medium) [Titan] straps over to Juliet last week and they look so sweet on her bike. We custom made the straps to match the colors of her Charge Scissor.

Zoe, it is quite hard to make any kind of living as a degesnir maker. When I was doing fairs down south most people had another job as well, teaching, working in pubs etc.To be a successful degesnir /maker I think you also have to also be good at marketing and networking. Etsy/folksy only really work if you have a good following to start with and then keep your shop full and let everyone know about it all the time. It is hard to stand out from the crowd if I saw your bracelet at a craft fair I would probably stop and try it on as lapis is one of my favourite stones would I buy it? No because I could not afford it would I offer to do a swop with you for an embroidered picture? Most certainly. One thing that I did notice about the jewellers at craft fairs is that they all seemed to have their own customer base. I know that there were 3 that I liked to buy from and I stuck to them because if I bought ear-rings, I knew that the bangle/ ring / necklace I bought from them another time would go They each had a unique style that was reflected in all their work.Making and selling your work is not an easy path to travel Zoe and I wish you luck. I think that you are naturally a very creative person with a good eye judging by the makes you have posted here. Even if your early sales only give you enough money to buy more materials and develop a style and a range. Then that would be a brilliant spring board.KPS Jewellers always did well at fairs
