Arman Chester Guevarra

May 14th, 2011

Name: Arman Chester Guevarra (Archie)

Age: 19

City: Copenhagen, Denmark

How did you get into fixed gear riding? It started when I saw a friend riding his super hipster fixed gear bike and after that I decided to build one up myself.

What interests do you have outside of fixed gear bikes? My girlfriend :D

Best thing about your town: There’re a lot of nice spots to ride.

Worst thing about your city: That must be that there’re no indoor spots if the weather is BS.

Favorite spot to ride: Isreals plads, Amagerstrand, Jammers plads.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now to ride your bike, where would it be? That would probably be somewhere in the states where there are a lot of FGFS riders and where there are nice spots.

Best thing about Sofus straps? That they are comfy and that they fit perfectly on my feet.

What’s the set up on your bike?

In the last few months I have been working on a project where I have been filming and  photographing random people in the sidewalks of Vejle. I have been trying to portrait people in a natural way. Even though most of the portraits are posed, none of the persons in the photos or the film have been preparing for the shoots. So there have been very little time for them to think about how they look or which clothes they wear.

I would like to thank all the people who helped and who have lined up for filming. I hope you enjoy watching it and please share it on your facebook, google+ or whatever. And feel free to comment. I would love to hear your opinion.
